The Hellenic Cooperative Oncology Group (HeCOG) is a non-profit Scientific Society consisting of distinguished Medical Oncologists. It was founded in 1990 by four active Medical Oncologists from two Cancer Centers and two University Oncology Departments who shared common visions and scientific goals, but above all, the desire to provide their patients with the latest advancements in Medical Science in the field of Medical Oncology. Over time, the Group expanded to include physicians from other specialties as well as other scientists, broadening its research horizons. Today, HeCOG has more than 70 members, who are prominent scientists, primarily Medical Oncologists, from 30 oncology centers in Greece and Cyprus. On an international level, HeCOG collaborates with renowned centers abroad, as well as with the following Research Groups.
