Presentation of smartHEALTH at the SymbIASIS Acceleration Program Webinar

Digital transformation is one of the most significant challenges in the healthcare sector today. In this context, smartHEALTH invites you to attend the webinar of the SymbIASIS acceleration program, entitled: “Supporting Digital Transformation in Healthcare through the Development of Interoperable Electronic Health Records.” The event will take place online on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 14:00 to 15:00 (EEST), hosted by the Centre for eHealth Applications and Services (CeHA) of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and the National Documentation Centre (EKT).

The seminar will focus on supporting digital transformation in healthcare through the development of interoperable electronic health records, current trends, and opportunities in the digital sector, as well as the interoperability of health applications.

More specifically, Mr. Kostas Karamanis, Digital Health Transformation from the CeHA at FORTH’s Institute of Computer Science, will present the smartHEALTH hub and its role in the digital transformation of healthcare. Mr. Dimitris Katehakis, Head of CeHA at FORTH and Director of HDHC, will provide an introduction to interoperability in his presentation “Interoperability, Digital Trends, and Opportunities.”
