The smartHEALTH Hub actively participates in the seminar titled “Innovation in Crete and the Supporting Entities 4.0,” which will take place on Friday, February 17th, at 12:30 PM, at the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce (Kastellaki Hall). As part of the event, representatives of smartHEALTH will participate in panels, as well as in 2 workshops, presenting innovative Digital Health services of the project and offering their knowledge and expertise to the participants of the seminar.
The seminar maps out, through 14 panels, 101 speakers, and a total of 9 workshops, innovation in Crete. Discussions and workshops involve 45 key entities and organizations, coming to Crete to meet and network with local entities. See the program here.

On Saturday, February 18th, and Sunday, February 19th, the Bootcamp Match & Develop a startup 4.0. will take place at the ITI (Main Building of ITI, Vasilika Vouton, Heraklion) for research teams and startups.
During the Bootcamp, companies will have the opportunity to discuss their idea with local entrepreneurs, attend seminars, and receive guidance from Fund Managers. Representatives from Funds such as Uni.fund, Metavallon, Big Pi, L-Stone, and NBG Business Seeds will be present. Presentations will be held on Sunday before a review committee. One company will win direct qualification to the Second Phase of the 14th Innovation & Technology Competition, and awards will be given by collaborating companies and organizations.

The seminar is co-organized by the NBG Business Seeds Program of the National Bank, the PRAXI Network of FORTH, the Science & Technology Park of Crete of FORTH, Bizrupt Organization, H2B HUB of the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce, the 4 Locals initiative, Endeavor Greece, the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEin) of the Athens University of Economics and Business, the Archimedes Center of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Uni.Fund, Metavallon, and Bayer Hellas, under the auspices of the Region of Crete.
The seminar is held in memory of Artemis Saitakis (1954-2021), who served as Director of the Science & Technology Park of Crete at the Foundation for Technology and Research for many years and associated his name with the support and promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship in Crete.
