Flowcytogen Laboratories S.A. was founded in 2009 as a spin-off of P. Zafiropoulos S.A., one of the pioneering companies in Greece, in the development, production and marketing of diagnostic reagents, medical and scientific devices both in Greece and in countries of the European Market. The Company has a well-equipped laboratory, Production - Quality Control - Research and Development, which follows the International Laboratory Standards of Molecular Analysis. Μain activities are the Research, Development, Production, Distribution, Scientific and Technical Support of innovative IVD systems, the Production of a wide range (35 product codes) of In-Vitro Diagnostic Clinical Chemistry and Infectious Agents Molecular Detection Reagents, certified by the National Organization of Medicines of Greece (EOF), and the provision of specialized Biotechnology Research services in the Company's molecular analysis and flow cytometry laboratories in Koropi. The Company is an active member of the Hellenic Biocluster, participating as an Industrial Research Partner in Research & Innovative Development actions, having successfully completed particularly important research programs co-financed by the Company and by GGEK – EYDE/RTAK within the framework of RIS3 of the European Union, and continues to implement intensively today.
