smartHEALTH participates to the EU-Safety 2025, on Wednesday, October 1st

The EU-Safety 2025 is co-organised by the Laboratory of Health and Road Safety (LaHeRS), affiliated to the Department of Social Work at the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) and the European Association for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion (EuroSafe). The conference is hosted at the Heraklion Cultural Conference Center (CCCC).

The main theme of the conference, “Preparedness for the Unexpected,” reflects its commitment to advancing proactive strategies, evidence-based policies, and cross-sectoral collaborations that enhance resilience and readiness in times of uncertainty. The conference will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, the sharing of best practices, and the promotion of action toward a safer and more sustainable future—where injury prevention and safety are embedded into every aspect of policy and practice.

EU-SAFETY 2025 will showcase the latest research, innovative interventions, and policy developments in injury prevention—covering areas such as child injuries, falls, home and leisure accidents, occupational injuries, and transport-related trauma.
