Episode 9: Discussion with Anastasios Tsolakidis – Business Intelligence analyst in the field of E-Health

In this episode, we are glad to host Mr. Anastasios Tsolakidis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Archival, Library & Information Studies. He obtained a bachelor degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from University of Western Attica and he holds a PhD in informatics (Très Honorable) from Université de Limoges, France, 2015. He has participated in several national and European research programs such as UNICOM (Up-scaling the global univocal identification of medicines), BPR4GDPR (Business Process Re-engineering and functional toolkit for GDPR compliance) and SECRET_DIDWE (Secure retrieval and dissemination of Information in Distributed and Wireless specific purpose environments). His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings in various fields of artificial intelligence, epidemiological studies, e-government and management of digital repositories and records.

From 2017, he serves as Business Intelligence analyst at IDIKA SA in the field of E-Health and in 2023 he occupied as the Head of the Department of Production Operations of the General Directorate of Electronic Health.

The Mission of IDIKA SA is to provide high-quality integrated solutions in the field of information technology and communications, which will support the proper, complete and effective operation of social security and health care institutions over time and the service of citizens, through the provision of modern electronic services and information.

In this episode, we discuss the issues of e-government, the management of digital registers, files and health data as well as their secondary exploitation and analysis by research groups.
