Training Activities for Employees of Healthcare Service Providers

As part of the collaboration between the “European Digital Innovation Hub on Precision Medicine and Innovative E-health Services – smartHEALTH” and the 7th Health Region of Crete (7η ΥΠΕ Κρήτης), a series of training seminars has been launched on topics that will contribute to improving the quality of services provided and the safety of recipients of healthcare services.

For the current period, there is one more activity left to be held, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, 13:30 – 14:30, and it concerns an “Introduction to cybersecurity for non-technical people – Security in the digital health sector“.

The session will be conducted online via Zoom. Pre-registration is required to receive the participation link and the training materials through the appropriate form (through this LINK).

During the training, the importance of cybersecurity in the healthcare sector and the risks that threaten information systems and sensitive patient data will be highlighted.

Basic concepts, cyber threats and safe behavior practices will be presented, with the aim of strengthening the protection of digital infrastructures and ensuring confidentiality.

The session will be delivered by smartHEALTH partners from the UniSystems company.
