Training Activities for Employees of Healthcare Service Providers
As part of the collaboration between the “European Digital Innovation Hub on Precision Medicine and Innovative E-health Services – smartHEALTH” and the 7th Health Region of Crete (7η ΥΠΕ Κρήτης), a series of training seminars has been launched on topics that will contribute to improving the quality of services provided and the safety of recipients of healthcare services.
Two (2) such training activities have been scheduled for July:
- The 1st will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 12:30 – 14:30, and will address two (2) educational topics regarding: a) “Digital office: organization, communication, collaboration”, and b) “Digital tools for remote meetings”.
- The 2nd will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, 13:30 – 14:30, and will concern an “Introduction to cybersecurity for non-technical people – Security in the digital health sector”.
Both sessions will be conducted online via Zoom. Pre-registration is required to receive the participation link and the training materials through the appropriate form (through this LINK).
More about the 2nd Training Session
The subjects that will be covered concern the use and settings (basic and advanced) of electronic mail applications/services, contact management, management and collaborative use of files in the “cloud computing”, meeting scheduling tools and data collection forms, electronic calendar and the capabilities of tools for remote sessions and collaborations. Examples of use and practical instructions will contribute to familiarization with the tools/services that will be used.

The session will be delivered by smartHEALTH partners from the Technical University of Crete and the Center for eHealth Applications and Services (CeHA).
