smartHEALTH at Innovent Forum 2023: Pioneering Digital Health Innovation in Greece

smartHEALTH proudly participated in the Innovent Forum 2023, a two-day hybrid event of science and technology organized by the innovation park JOIST, highlighting innovation and collaboration in Greek society. Mr. Dimitris Katehakis from the Center for eHealth Applications and Services (CeHA) of FORTH attended and presented smartHEALTH.

During the Panel Discussion titled “Digital Transformation in Greece: Services to Businesses and Entities from European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH),” Mr. Dimitris Katehakis, head of CeHA, presented smartHEALTH. smartHEALTH represents leading expertise in the fields of precision medicine, cancer, and digital transformation of the public sector. The smartHEALTH project serves as a “one-stop-shop” for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, midcaps, and the public sector, offering them specialized support to improve business processes and develop products and services through the use of digital technology. Additionally, smartHEALTH connects key organizations in the Greek ecosystem in the field of digital and intelligent health, aiming to facilitate digital transformation in both the private and public sectors.

The Innovent Forum serves as a platform for promoting and showcasing innovative products and services from Greek businesses, research centers, and universities, promoting networking and collaboration. It is a platform that will contribute to the development of new products and services and will encourage innovation in Greek society. Innovent Forum 2023 marked the beginning of a dialogue to promote innovation in key areas of Greek society, while the smartHEALTH hub continues to promote digital evolution and intelligent health in our country and beyond. smartHEALTH’s participation in this event is yet another testament to its commitment to promoting digital innovation and improving the healthcare sector in Greece.
